Chris Pratt Praises Wife Anna Faris On Instagram After Slamming Body Shamers For ‘Skeletal’ Comment

“Galaxy of the Guardians” star Chris Pratt took to Instagram Sunday to praise his wife, “Mom” actress Anna Faris. The two have ben married since 2009.

“Just spent the most amazing night in #Paris with my dear, sweet and amazing wife @annafaris I mean... just look at her,” he wrote to his 10 million Instagram followers in a Sunday post. “Back in the U.K. now and back to work. Happy (European) #mothersday to my sweetie and all the moms in Europe. We love you!” The post was liked more than 765,000 times and attracted hundreds of comments.

Pratt, who is active on Instagram, slammed body shamers Thursday after some accused him of being too skinny — or “skeletal.”

“So many people have said I look too thin in my recent episodes of #WHATSMYSNACK. Some have gone as far as to say I look ‘skeletal,’” the 37-year-old Seattle native said. “Well, just because I am a male doesn't mean I'm impervious to your whispers. Body shaming hurts. So to prove my security in the way I look I'm posting a current selfie of me at what I consider a very healthy weight. 500lbs. Zero percent body fat. Totally JK guys. This is a T Rex skull. Nailed you so bad. Omg.”

Turns out Faris, 40, likes him better with a few inches around his waist. “I think Anna is hedging her bets that one day I'll be fat again, and she'll say, ‘Remember, honey, I always told you I preferred you this way,’” Pratt told GQ in 2015.

Even though they faced cheating rumors when Pratt filmed “Passengers” with “Hunger Games” star Jennifer Lawrence, he slammed the gossip by saying Faris was his soul mate.

“Anna and I are meant to be together,” the actor wrote during a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) session in 2015. “Our relationship has made me believe in divine intervention and destiny, just as much as my crazy career and the way I fell into this life. She and I grew up 20 minutes away from each other but never met until we met in LA.”
