Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley had an argument over the renovations he did in their new home.
In the Season 10 premiere of "Chrisley Knows Best," which was filmed before they entered prison, the couple found themselves at odds while moving into their new family home.
"Being married to Todd means you're never going to call a place home for very long," Julie said in a confessional, referring to their third move in the past year, Us Weekly reported. "It keeps me stressed and unsettled. And the only reason I agreed to move into this new house is because it was turn-key. I'm just excited to move in, unpack and be done."
But when Julie arrived at their new home, she discovered that Todd, 53, had torn out parts of the property without telling her. The changes didn't sit well with Julie, who felt she was left in the dark.
"You gutted it," she said. "What happened to 'sprucing things up'? What the heck happened?"
However, Todd defended his renovation plans, saying, "Julie, listen, it's like if you go have your eyes done, then you realize you need to have your neck done. And then you need to have an upper lift and a lower lift."
"Why did you lie to me?" she asked, to which Todd replied, "OK, let's find a question that's a little easier."
The South Carolina native admitted that she was frustrated over being misled by Todd.
"I'm just done with it. I'm over it. I feel like we are at a stage of our life where we need to find where we're going to settle," Julie continued. "I want Grayson to be settled the last few years he's at home before he goes to college. Chloe is nine. She likes stability. Not doing a house and selling it and moving to another one and selling it. I'm just tired of that. And not to mention, you lied to me, Todd."
The couple was able to work out their differences by the end of the episode.
The USA Network series, however, did not mention their offscreen legal troubles.
Todd and Julie were sentenced in November 2022 to 12 years and seven years in federal prison, respectively, after a jury convicted the couple that June of bank fraud and tax evasion.
The Chrisleys were also both ordered to serve an additional 16 months of probation following their release from prison.
The couple began serving their respective prison sentences on Jan. 17.
Last week, their daughter, Savannah Chrisley, gave an update about her parents, revealing that their condition wasn't as bad as she expected.
"It makes my heart to know that my parents are okay," she said in last week's episode of her "Unlocked" podcast.
"Chrisley Knows Best" airs Mondays at 11 p.m. EST on USA Network.
