‘Chrisley Knows Best’ Season 4 Star Lindsie Chrisley Leans On Her Dad Todd Chrisley For Support Amid Split With Husband Will Campbell
Lindsie Chrisley is leaning on her family amid her split from husband Will Campbell.
Lindsie, who stars together with her family on USA Network’s reality TV series “Chrisley Knows Best,” told People that her closest relatives have “all come together in different ways” to help her with her current situation.
“He's been there for me for 26 years,” Lindsie said of her dad Todd Chrisley. “That's my closest, longest, strongest relationship.”
"My grandmother [Faye Chrisley] has been a source of comfort, and my sister [Savannah Chrisley] understands things from a young female perspective," she continued. Lindsie, who shares son Jackson Campbell with her estranged husband Will, also revealed that her brother Chase Chrisley has been helping her “get in tune with [her] emotions.”
The reality star added that she’s been in constant communication with her mom Julie Chrisley since her split. “I talk to her for hours every day, just about everything that goes along with going through a divorce,” Lindsie explained. “She's been there every step of the way and I'm so thankful for it.”
Lindsie announced her split from Will in her lengthy interview with People published on Wednesday, Aug. 24.
“He was my first love. We got together when we were 19 years old, and over time we grew separately in different directions instead of together," said Lindsie, now 26.
“We're not fighting,” she clarified. “Unfortunately, it is what it is, and we truly just want to come together and make it the best situation for our child and families and move forward with our lives.”
Todd and Savannah addressed Lindsie’s decision to reveal her split with Will on Instagram.
“It's with a heavy heart that we announce this but with a heart full of hope and brighter moments to come in the future,” Todd wrote. “My son-in-law Will is a wonderful father to our Jackson. We will continue to be supportive of the love circle around our family. Let's lift each other up so that no one ever feels left behind.”
“Sometimes life gets hard and when it does, you get to keep it a secret and deal with it privately,” Savannah began her post. “But our family is in the public eye so we don't get to keep things quiet and private. EVERYTHING about our family has been under a magnifying glass for years! So after keeping things quiet for awhile in order to protect our precious baby Jackson, my sister has decided to release a statement letting you all know what's going on. Now, I ask you all to give my sister the love and respect that she deserves during this time. ❤ I love you @lindsiechrisley.”
Shortly after her interview with People was published, Lindsie shared a photo of herself with Todd, Savannah and Chase. “Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind,” Chrisley captioned the Instagram pic.
“Chrisley Knows Best” airs every Tuesday at 10/9c on USA Network.
