Chrissy Teigen recently faced backlash for saying that she looks like First Lady Melania Trump.

On her Twitter account, John Legend’s wife uploaded a video of herself being glammed up by her stylist. The model declared that she looks like the FLOTUS in the clip.

However, the majority of the people who commented on her post said that she doesn’t look like the first lady at all. In fact, some of them even said that President Donald Trump’s wife looks so much better than Teigen.

“It’s really quite disgusting seeing everyone tear down a woman simply because of who she’s married to. It’s not a free pass to attack her looks. I can’t believe all women here especially. We should be complimenting and lifting each other up. Not tearing down,” Twitter user @chipmunkofddoom said.

“I am not a Trump fan, but Melania is beautiful and smart. She speaks at least six languages. Brilliant women make dumb choices over men every day. Even members of MENSA,” Twitter user @ShanaTristan1 said.

“Melania is way hotter,” Twitter user @RobertFouquet said.

“You tried. It just wasn’t possible,” Twitter user @MatthewMaryland said.

Meanwhile, Teigen’s recent tweet forced the public to recall her previous tweets about President Trump. The model has been criticizing the POTUS on social media for years until the latter decided to block her on Twitter.

“After 9 years of hating Donald J. Trump, telling him ‘lol no one likes you’ was the straw,” she wrote alongside a photo of the president’s Twitter account with the notice that she has been blocked from his page.

On another occasion, Teigen tweeted about going to the Starbucks inside Trump building.

“Just realized I’m at a Starbucks inside a Trump building. I knew it smelled psychotic and racist here,” she wrote.

“Donald Trump sure turned into a joke, right? As opposed to what he was before which was so not a joke or anything,” Teigen tweeted in 2011.
