Chrissy Teigen has been experiencing intense headaches during her third pregnancy, but she is relieved now that she has been cleared to get neck muscle botox shots.
Teigen's third pregnancy has not been easy for the model and celebrity mom, who has been plagued by "really bad" headaches. Thankfully, her doctor gave her permission to get the treatment she needs.
"I get really really bad pregnancy headaches. was thrilled to be cleared to do neck muscle botox along with a crazy combo of beta blocker shots and radio wave frequency something something doctor terms. anyhow man it’s just so bad but I see the light finally," Teigen wrote on Twitter.
Teigen, who also shares daughter Luna, 4, and son Miles, 2, with husband John Legend, shared more details with followers who were interested in the procedure. One fan said that while she is not pregnant, she has been suffering migraines for weeks and is looking for other options besides neurology.
"Jaw Botox for my grinding was a MUST for my regular headaches. You can also do behind the brow for migraines. Life changing," Teigen responded.
Another follower said she wasn't allowed to get botox shots when she was pregnant, though like Teigen she also gets them for migraines.
"Yeah if you have the means to go to a neurologist instead of cosmetic it’s a lot better and safer because they talk to your OB," Teigen suggested.
While she was pregnant with Miles, Teigen also spoke about her struggles with pregnancy headaches.
"I love being pregnant. I like it more than not being pregnant," she wrote back in 2017. "But the headaches, my god the headaches. Someone…please help. Don’t say water. Or Tylenol. Or iron. Or magnesium. I need witchcraft."
Meanwhile, Teigen revealed in a series of tweets back in August that she hadn't expected to be able to conceive naturally. The model, who debuted her baby bump on Legend's "Wild" music video, had just gotten her breast implants removed at the time, prompting followers to ask when she found out that she was expecting.
The celebrity mom shared that she underwent the routine pregnancy test before the surgery that turned out negative. However, a few weeks after the surgery, she took another test, and this time, she received a positive result.
Teigen admitted that she was scared after seeing the result she had been waiting for because she had just undergone surgery. Thankfully, all was well for the expectant mother.
