The New York City branch of famed auction house, Christie's, has announced they will be auctioning a collection of couture dresses and accessories worn the iconic Elizabeth Taylor, a two-time Academy Award winning actress and acclaimed as one of the most glamorous stars of Hollywood's Golden Age.

The auction is scheduled to start on Dec. 3 and a portion of the proceeds from the legendary collection on offer, said to be worth millions of dollars, will be donated to The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation.
