Lifetime’s “It’s A Wonderful Lifetime” programming event continues tonight with the premiere of “The Christmas Ball,” starring Deidre Mullins, Nick Hendrix and Carol Langrishe.

The film will be a treat for fans as they will be getting introduced to the stars for the first time, as they have yet to appear in Lifetime titles. Mullins is best known for “The Dark Mile” and her role as Anne Shakespeare in “Will,” while Hendrix is known for his role as Billy Wallace on “The Crown” and in “Midsomar Murders.”

Caroline Langrishe (“Doctors”) also stars.

So what can fans expect in this flick? Let’s find out.

“When lead ballerina Clare Fitsgerald (Mullins) is let go before the Christmas season’s Nutcracker, she’s beyond devastated and jumps at the opportunity to visit her Aunt Bridget (Langrishe) in England during the holidays,” a synopsis reads. “Once there, she meets Liam (Hendrix), a local professor and historian who is helping Aunt Bridget preserve the family manor.”

As she learns more about the history of her family’s estate, Clare decides to persuade her aunt to do something drastic—and potentially finds a special gift for herself in terms of romance.

“Clare discovers that Christmas Regency balls were once held at the manor, prompting Aunt Bridget to propose they hold a ball as part of Liam’s presentation to the preservation society,” the synopsis continues. “As Clare and Liam work together, the two also waltz into a new romance.”

“The Christmas Ball” airs Tuesday at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
