‘Christmas At The Castle’ Lifetime Movie Premiere: Trailer, Synopsis, Cast
“It’s A Wonderful Lifetime” 2020 is almost at a wrap, but there are still a few more festive titles for fans to look forward to until 2021. The newest title, “Christmas at the Castle,” premieres Wednesday and stars Dan Jeannotte and Brooke Burfitt.
The movie will be a treat for Lifetime fans, who may not be familiar with the two stars, as they haven’t appeared in holiday films there before—but this will be their second holiday project together. They both starred in the 2019 title “Christmas in the Highlands,” making this project a treat for anyone who has already that film.
As for other projects, Burfitt has appeared on Lifetime before, starring as Samantha in the thriller, “Maternal Secrets.” As for Jeannotte, he has been a familiar face on Hallmark, as Brandon Russell on “The Good Witch” and for the film “Paris, Wine And Romance.” He also starred as Ryan Decker on Freeform’s “The Bold Type.”
So what will happen when these two team up for their second film together?
“This Christmas, Blaire Henderson (Burfitt), a perfume expert from New York, is sent to remote Scotland to find a rare fragrance, The Heart of the Highlands,” a synopsis reads. “But when she arrives, she finds the dashing license owner, Alistair McGregor (Jeannotte), is a stubborn aristocrat who won’t sell. Thinking on her feet, she poses as a documentary filmmaker to learn the secret formula.”
However, as she continues working with Alistair, and the two spend time together, things start sparking between them—which could put Brooke’s plans in jeopardy because the truth likely won’t sit well.
“The more time they spend together, the more sparks fly. With the scent of romance in the air, will Blaire find love where she least expected?” the synopsis asks.
Will Blaire get both the scent she needs and a new love?
“Christmas at the Castle” premieres Wednesday, Dec. 23 at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
