‘The Christmas High Note’ Lifetime Movie Premiere: Trailer, Synopsis, Cast
The “It’s A Wonderful Lifetime” programming event continues in its final week with the premiere of “The Christmas High Note,” starring Jamie Luner and Johnny Messner.
Fans may recognize Luner, who is best known for her role as Lexi Sterling on “Melrose Place,” but has also had roles in several films, including “My Adventures With Santa,” “Deadly Runway,” “A Mother’s Revenge” and “The Wrong Girl.” Messner, meanwhile, could be recognized for a number of roles, including as Chuck on “Jane the Virgin.”
Madeline Grace, William McNamara (“A Wedding for Christmas”) and Kassandra Clementi (“Love on Repeat”) also star.
So what will happen in this musical holiday film?
“After being stood up by her partner Brad (McNamara), Rachel (Luner) soon meets Michael (Messner) and his teenage daughter, Sophia (Grace),” the synopsis reads. “During Christmas Eve pageant rehearsals, Sophia finds herself challenged to hit the high note in her solo of Hark! The Herald Angels Sing. Rachel offers to coach Sophia’s performance and discovers a new interest in Michael.”
Will the romance bloom for them for Christmas and give them both a memorable holiday? Will Sophia also hit the note she needs for a flawless performance?
“The Christmas High Note” premieres Tuesday, Dec. 22 at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
