‘Christmas On The Menu’ Lifetime Movie Premiere: Trailer, Synopsis, Cast
“It’s A Wonderful Lifetime” continues with the premiere of its latest new holiday film, “Christmas on the Menu,” starring Kim Shaw and Clayton James.
Fans will likely recognize both stars, with Shaw previously starring on the network’s “Abducted on Air” and “Engaged to a Psycho.” She might also be easily recognized from her role as Dr. Cassie Williams on “Saving Hope,” or her role in the Hallmark Channel film “Christmas Scavenger Hunt.” As for James, he previously held roles in Lifetimes “Britney Ever After” and “A Christmas Arrangement,” but could also be recognized for various Hallmark related roles, including in “Ruby Herring Mysteries: Prediction Murder,” “Christmas on My Mind,” “The Last Bridesmaid” and “The Sweetest Heart.”
Cynthia Gibb (“Ivy & Mistletoe”), Jesse Kove (“This Is Our Christmas”), Michael Steger (“90210”) and Shanica Knowles (“Life-Size 2”) also star.
So what will happen when these two team up for their first title together?
“Josie Jennings (Shaw), a celebrated, romantic, 35-year-old chef in the city heads home to spend the holidays at the quaint, magical bed and breakfast where she grew up, and where her mother Shannon (Gibb) has just opened a new restaurant,” a synopsis reads. “Famous food critic Tanner Rhodes (James), who has given Josie harsh reviews in the past, comes to town to review the new restaurant and Josie’s Christmas cuisine.”
However, as the two grow closer during their time together in a new setting, Tanner may start to find himself feeling differently about not only Josie’s food—but the woman herself. Will the past stand in the way of a future?
“As the holidays unfold, Jessie and Tanner get to know each other better, and a romance soon begins to blossom, but will Tanner find a way to right his wrongs, write a rave review for the bistro’s delicious cuisine, and win Josie’s heart by Christmas Eve?” the synopsis asks.
“Christmas on the Menu” premieres Friday, Dec. 18 at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
