Cindy Crawford’s Daughter Kaia Gerber Jokes About ‘Not Seeing Resemblance’ With Mom
Cindy Crawford’s 16-year-old daughter, Kaia Gerber, recently joked about the resemblance she has with her mom.
On her Instagram account, the young model shared a photo of herself with her mom, who looks exactly like her. In the snap, Gerber is seen wearing a red tank top. She and her mom have the exact same hair color and hairstyle. Crawford’s attire could not be seen because she is standing behind her daughter and hugging her from the back.
Gerber is aware that a lot of people see the similarities she has with her mom, but she decided to jokingly say that she doesn’t see any resemblance between them.
In May, the mom and daughter told Entertainment Tonight that their facial features aren’t their only similarities. “It’s not even just the way that we look alike. We have the same mannerisms. Just like, the way we react to certain situations is the same – and I think that’s where it really shines through how much alike we are,” Gerber said.
And Crawford also shared some of the biggest life lessons she has passed on to her daughter. “I think the best thing that I tried to pass on to Kaia is just to be true to yourself and to feel like you’re good enough just the way you are. And then, anything else that you want to do, just listed to that voice inside,” she said.
At that time, Crawford and Gerber also talked about the teen’s dating life. She said that she hasn’t been on a date, but she knows for a fact that her husband, Rande Gerber, and son, Presley Gerber, would have the most to say about it.
“I feel like she hasn’t really gone on an official date yet. She did go to prom with kind of a friend, but she hasn’t had, like, the first boyfriend yet – and if Rande and Presley have anything to say about it...” she said.
Gerber added that she thinks her mom will have the least issue with her dating someone. “They’d first have to go through my brother and my dad so she wouldn’t… if they got through them, they’d be ecstatic,” she said.
