Claire Holt Engaged To Andrew Joblon Months After Divorce From Matthew Kaplan

Claire Holt and Andrew Joblon are officially engaged! The couple made the announcement on social media.

On her Instagram account, “The Originals” star shared a photo of herself kissing Joblon on Sunday. In the snap, she is showing off her engagement ring, while Joblon holds her hand.

Holt and Joblon’s engagement came seven months after the actress’ ex-husband, Matthew Kaplan, filed for divorce. On Apr. 27, Kaplan cited irreconcilable differences as the main reason for their split. A day later, on Apr. 28, Holt and Kaplan would’ve celebrated their first wedding anniversary.

Kaplan and Holt announced their engagement on July 13, 2015, according to People.

In 2016, Holt explained why they decided to keep their wedding details under wraps. While speaking with TV Week, she said, “I think there’s something really sacred about keeping that moment to yourselves. We just got married in front of our families. We had the best day.”

After their wedding, the actress shared a photo from their ceremony on her Instagram account. She captioned it by thanking all of their family and friends who attended their special day. “Mr. and Mrs. Kaplan. Thank you to our beautiful families for making the day so special,” she wrote (via US Weekly). The photo has since been deleted.

Holt and Kaplan went to Italy for their honeymoon. The actress also shared a full body picture of herself while at Lake Como. Holt decided to carry Kaplan’s surname after their wedding, and she requested the court to change it back to Holt after his divorce filing.

Meanwhile, Holt revealed that she is already dating Joblon in July via a series of travel pictures with the real estate executive. Joblon previously dated Amanda Seyfried, according to Telegraph. Seyfried is now married to Thomas Sadoski.
