Cody Simpson may have expressed his desire in raising a family in Australia but for now, he has other priorities and having a baby anytime soon may have not been included.

The 23-year-old singer revealed to The Sunday Telegraph his desire of returning to Australia and raise a family there, New Idea reported. Simpson had to move to Los Angeles for work and although he has a base home in LA, Australia will always be number 1 in his heart.

Despite confirming his aspiration to return to his native land and raising a family there, it did not mean it would happen sooner. Meanwhile, there are rumors circulating that his girlfriend, Miley Cyrus, is pregnant. Oh-oh! Baby alert!

Talking to Karl Stefanovic of Australia’s “Today” show, the Australian singer revealed that his priorities, in the present, are work and music, Hollywood Life reported.

The rest, according to Simpson, comes along with it. He acknowledged the fact that whatever comes along is a part of it and it’s something he has to be cool with.

Simpson was described as an old soul with full of passion. He has always been passionate with his music and songwriting.

In addition, Simpson is also an active advocate in saving the environment and Mother Earth.

As much as he loves music, Simpson is also passionate about writing. In fact, in April 2020, the Australian artist will be releasing his book “Prince Neptune: Poetry and Prose.”

On his official Twitter account, Simpson revealed that “Prince Neptune” was like his little notebook. All his thoughts, visions and poems were recorded in it since he was 18. Five years later, the now 23-year-old’s little book is filled, bounded, published and ready for release.

Needless to say, Cyrus has always been supportive of Simpson and his passion. In fact, in an interview with GQ Australia, Simpson described Cyrus as someone who is open-minded and that he’s working on to be more like her, Cosmopolitan reported. He also said that she’s been his best friend.

Are him and Cyrus on the same page in terms of how they see each other?

Their romantic relationship may have started in a hasty, complicated manner —with Cyrus breaking off her month-long relationship with Kaitlynn Carter, following her split from Liam Hemsworth and amid their divorce proceedings.

There had been previous reports of Simpson and Cyrus splitting but the former reportedly confirmed that they’re going amazing. Despite having a lot of detractors, many believe that what he and Cyrus have is something serious.
