Corsair has started accepting pre-orders for its Corsair One gaming PC — a device that can simply be plugged into your existing system setup to start gaming. It is virtual reality (VR) capable and also supports 4K graphics. The Corsair One comes with specifications such as an Intel Core i7 4.2GHz processor, a Nvdia Geforce GTX 1070 GPU, 16GB LPX 2 RAM, 240GB SSD and 1TB HDD memory, a custom MSI Z270 motherboard and Windows 10 Home.

“CORSAIR ONE…unbelievably compact, quiet and with incredible performance, it changes what people will expect from a high-end PC,” claims Andy Paul, founder and CEO in a press release issued Thursday announcing the launch.

The Corsair One frame is made from milled aluminium and has blue lighting strips in the front. The company states that every component of the PC was chosen specifically to fit into the PC’s 200m x 176mm x 380mm frame. The PC is also liquid cooled. The USP of the device is its compact size, which is much smaller than the regular gaming setups.

The Corsair PC seems to be targeted at gamers who generally like to assemble their own PCs according to their own requirements. While it offers many high-end components, the price is a little steep at $1,799.99 for the base version called the One.

There are three higher end models available.

The Corsair One Pro comes with an Intel Core i7, 4.5 GHz processor, a Nvdia Geforce GTX 1080 GPU, 16GB RAM, 240GB SSD and 1TB HDD, MSI Z270 motherboard and Windows 10 Home and is priced at $2,199.99, while the Corsair Webstore exclusive version of the same PC, but with a Corsair Force LE 960GB SSD will cost $2,299.99. All three models are available on pre-order starting Thursday.

Another PC from the series — the Corsair One Pro GTX 1080 Ti with an Intel Core i7 4.5 GHz processor, a Nvdia Geforce GTX 1090 GPU, 16GB RAM, 960 GB SSD memory, a MSI Z270 motherboard and Windows 10 Home will cost $2,599.99 and be a Webstore exclusive. The launch date for the device has been revealed by the company.
