‘Counting On’ Season 3 Premiere Date Confirmed, When Do New Duggar Episodes Air?
The Duggars are coming back! Season 3 of “Counting On” kicks off on TLC right after the New Year, but fans of the Arkansas clan will have to adjust their TV-viewing schedule to catch the latest installments.
The Dillards, Seewalds and Duggars will return for new episodes starting Monday, Jan. 16. The series will not only move days, it will also air at a new time, 9 p.m. EST. While a synopsis for Season 3, episode 1 is not yet available, TLC’s trailer for Season 3 reveals what’s ahead.
While viewers watched Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo wed in the Season 2 finale, the new episodes will show the events leading up to their big day. Scenes from the promo show Jinger trying to find her perfect wedding dress, tasting food for the nuptials and stressing out over wedding planning.
“I’m not necessarily like a details person,” Jinger says. “I’m just a little overwhelmed.”
Elsewhere in the upcoming installment, Jessa and Ben Seewald will prepare for the arrival of their second baby with help from sister Jill Dillard. In one scene, Jessa teases the possible arrival of twins as Jill, a midwife, gives her a pregnancy checkup.
Of course, viewers will also be treated to the newest Duggar courtship. Joy-Anna Duggar confirmed her relationship with Austin Forsythe in November, and viewers will get to see his courting proposal play out onscreen. As previously reported, Joy and Austin, a former reality TV star, were friends for over a decade before they started dating. They have since been photographed on several chaperoned outings.
Catch the Season 3 premiere of “Counting On” on Monday, Jan. 16, at 9 p.m. EST on TLC.
