‘Counting On’ Star Jana Duggar Has Been Linked To 4 Men In 2017

Jana Duggar, the oldest daughter of “19 Kids and Counting” alums Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, has never come out and announced a courtship, but that hasn’t stopped the rumor mill from linking her to numerous men. In 2017 alone, the 27-year-old “Counting On” star has been rumored to be dating four different men.

Caleb Williams- October 2017

Jana, 27, was most recently linked to Caleb Williams. Rumors of a possible fling between the TLC personality and the longtime Duggar pal started in October after a photo of Caleb having dinner with the Duggars surfaced on their Facebook fan page. At the time, Radar Online reported that the self-classified photographer and business owner had been “close friends” with the Duggar for many years but did not follow their strict courtship guidelines. The Duggars never outright denied Caleb and Jana were an item.

Jacob Williams- September 2017

While Caleb never completely shut down reports of him and Jana’s supposed relationship, his brother, Jacob, was quick to deny he’s linked to Jana. In September, he took to Facebook to confirm he and Jana, who have been friends for over 20 years, are not dating. “I just wanna say that this is total bunk,” he wrote.

Jonathan Hartono- May 2017

In May, reports linked Jana and Jonathan, a Florida-based student. Radar Online was responsible for telling fans the two were “so sweet and fun” together. Viewers were so convinced a courtship was in the works that the Duggar Family Blog, which is run by two friends of the TLC brood, shut down the rumors on their site.

“A rumor that Jana Duggar is in a courtship with Jonathan Hartono, a foreign exchange student from Indonesia who has been close friends with the Duggars since he and his sister Jennifer met Jana and John-David [Duggar] on a mission trip seven years ago, has been circulating in the tabloids,” the blog wrote at the time. “Many of our readers have been asking if the rumor is true, so we wanted to inform you that it is not. Jonathan has confirmed that he is still single and not in a relationship.”

Jonathan also denied claims he was dating Jana. On Instagram, he wrote that he’s not “courting Jana” and included the hashtag “#stillsingle.”

Lawson Bates- April 2017

This isn’t the first time a Duggar has been rumored to be courting a member of the Bates family. After reports linked Jana and now-married “Bringing Up Bates” star Zach Bates in 2015, new rumors surfaced in April claiming Jana and his younger brother, Lawson, were dating. Lawson’s parents denied the coupling, saying both Jana and their son would both be “shocked” by the news they are supposedly together.

“They are very good friends but no courtships that either of our families are aware of,” Gil and Kelly Jo Bates wrote.

Jana’s Thoughts

“There have been different guys come along and ask but they haven’t been the right one,” Jana told viewers in a 2016 episode. “I’m not just out to get married to the first one that comes along.”

It looks like “Counting On” fans will have to keep waiting for a courtship announcement from Jana.
