‘Counting On’ Star Jill Dillard Sparks Pregnancy Rumors On Instagram
A recent photo of Jill Dillard has some “Counting On” fans speculating she’s pregnant again. Some viewers of the hit TLC series claim to spot a “baby bump” on the TV personality in an Instagram photo posted by her husband, Derick Dillard.
The photo’s caption, which showed Jill and Derick on Thanksgiving, doesn’t mention any baby news, but that didn’t stop fans from talking about a speculated baby No. 3 for the couple in the comments.
“She looks pregnant again!” reads one post, a statement repeated by several fans on the photo. “Did we know she was pregnant again?” asked one follower. “I spy a baby bump,” reads another comment.
Still, not every commenter is convinced Jill is expecting. Many have been quick to point out she and Derick only just welcomed their second son, Samuel Scott, in July. “FYI not everyone slims down super fast after having a baby,” reasoned one fan.
Jill has since posted photos to her own Instagram account, though none of them has showed off any potential bump. “When you are switching laundry from the washer to the dryer and realize you forgot to put laundry soap in the load you just washed,” Jill captioned one of the shots, which showed her posing with her two sons, Israel, 2, and Samuel, 4 months.
The “Counting On” lead’s latest image has her posing with her youngest inside her parent’s Arkansas home. “Love my little cuddle baby!” she wrote of the sweet shot.
If Jill and Derick are expecting baby No. 3, it’s unclear if their supporters would ever get to see Jill’s pregnancy play out on screen. TLC has yet to confirm a new season of “Counting On” -- though one cast member has revealed they’re filming new episodes.
However, even if the show does return, viewers will no longer get to catch up with Derick. TLC announced last month that Jill’s husband would not be featured on the program after making transphobic comments about TLC’s “I Am Jazz” star Jazz Jennings.
“We want to let our viewers know that Derick Dillard has not participated in Counting On for months and the network has no plans to feature him in the future,” TLC tweeted in November.
“We want to reiterate that Derick’s personal statement do not reflect the views of the network. TLC is proud to share the story of Jazz Jennings and her family and will continue to do so.”
