Country Singer Kelsea Ballerini Engaged To Boyfriend Morgan Evans [See The Ring]

Big news for Kelsea Ballerini. The country star announced Monday on Instagram she and her Australian singer-songwriter boyfriend, Morgan Evans, got engaged while she was making (or in her words "burning") pancakes on Christmas morning.

The cute couple met while hosting Australia’s Country Music Channel Awards earlier this year.

“This morning, 9 months and 13 days later, he got down on one knee in the kitchen while I was burning pancakes and asked me to marry him. Loving him has been the greatest gift of my life. And now I get to do it for life. #HECALLEDDIBS,” Ballerini shared on social media.

This year has been quite the year for the Ballerini, 23, who followed up her No. 1 debut single "Love Me Like You Mean" with smash hits “Dibs” and “Peter Pan” making her the first solo female country artist to have three consecutive No. 1s off her debut album since Wynonna Judd in 1992. She was honored as New Female Vocalist of the Year at the 2016 AMAs and is nominated for Best New Artist at the upcoming 50th Annual CMA Awards.

Ballerini also just released the music video for her current single "Yeah Boy." The video, which premiered on Teen Vogue Friday, is a nod to the '90s, with neon lights, splashy outfits and choreographed dancing. Watch it HERE.
