Courteney Cox recently took to Instagram to celebrate her partner Johnny McDaid's birthday with a sweet note and photos.
Cox, 57, shared two photos Saturday of her and McDaid, 45, hugging each other. The first photo was clicked on the sets of "Friends" and it seems the picture was clicked recently during the reunion special.
In the photo, the couple donned matching black outfits and posed for the camera while sitting on a coach. The second photo, a selfie, seems to be clicked in a personal setting as Cox had no makeup and wore a reading glass. McDaid was seen hugging Cox from behind.
"Happy Birthday to my best friend and love," Cox wrote in the caption. "He’s the kindest, most patient, best listener, curious, caring, not to mention talented and gorgeous partner. I love you jmd. x."
The post was liked by Jennifer Aniston's ex-husband, actor Justin Theroux. Many celebs took to the comments section to send their wishes.
Singer Joel Taylor wrote, "Happy birthday to the hitmaker, JMD! Lots of love, from us!" while actress Mary McCormack wrote, "so Happy you were born Jmd." British fashion designer Tan France added heart-eye-popping emoji in the comments section.
Fans also showered the couple with love and many of them wrote, "best couple" in the comments.
This is not the first time when Cox shared her love for McDaid. She previously noted that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, McDaid was forced to isolate himself for nine months in Europe. She admitted on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that she has never been separated from him for this long.
"He supposed to go to Switzerland to write and instead had to go to England," Cox told DeGeneres. "Then all of a sudden, this all happened and they called a quarantine."
The couple marked their seventh anniversary in September 2020 and Cox shared a series of photos on her Instagram. She wrote in the caption, "7 years ago today I had my first date with this incredible man... and my life was changed forever. I love you J."
On the work front, the actress dropped her first directorial music video, "Right On Time," featuring Brandi Carlile last week. The music album is slated to release on Oct. 1, this year.
