Courteney Cox, who portrayed the role of Monica Geller, has finally come out sharing her feelings about the one-off episode. According to a report, the 55-year-old actress has revealed that she is really excited for the reunion and could not wait to get back on set with her co-stars.

Speaking in an interview with Kevin Nealon for “Hiking With Mike” web series, Cox noted that the most exciting thing is that the original cast members will be getting together for the “first time” and talk about the show that completely changed their lives when it aired for the first time. The “Scream” star also confirmed that the reunion episode will be heading to HBO Max.

“So the exciting thing is that we are all going to get together for the first time, in a room, and actually talk about the show, and it is going to be on HBO Max, and I am so excited. We are going to have the best time. It is going to be great. It is going to be fantastic,” Cox said.

Her comments come a few days after it was reported the makers are planning to make it a 12-part series since all the cast members have been made to sign a “non-disclosure” agreement to keep things exciting for the fans.

The news of the reunion episode was first confirmed by Jennifer Aniston on social media and then Cox shared the same picture on Instagram. It is also being reported that the cast members would be getting $2.5 million apiece for being part of the special at HBO Max.

All the original cast members – Cox, Aniston, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow, David Scwhimmer, and Matt LeBlanc – will return for the “unscripted” special.

The original series started in the year 1995 and ran for ten seasons. Those ten seasons had a total of 236 episodes. Seven out of ten seasons consisted of 24 episodes each while two seasons ran for 25 episodes each. On the other hand, the final season only had 18 episodes.
