Crypto On July 14: Bitcoin Reclaims $20,000, Ether Breaks Above $1,100

The crypto market opened on a bullish note Thursday as the leading cryptocurrencies Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) witnessed price surges of 3.84% and 5.44%, respectively.
Bitcoin, the world's biggest cryptocurrency, reclaimed the $20,000 price region and as of 12:17 a.m. ET, the price of 1 BTC was $20,218. On the other hand, Ether, the world's second-biggest cryptocurrency, was priced at $1,110 as of 12:21 a.m. ET. The market dominance of these cryptocurrencies rose to 42.90% and 15.02%, respectively, according to CoinMarketCap (CMC).
Furthermore, the data from CMC also confirms that the market capitalization of the entire space has reclaimed $900 billion. The number of cryptocurrencies listed on CMC has exceeded 20,200, but the top two cryptocurrencies represent more than 55% of the entire market.
The biggest gainers for the day included Avalanche (AVAX), Polygon (MATIC), Uniswap (UNI), and Aave (AAVE) which rose 10.74%, 18%, 10.93%, and 14%, respectively. The prices of these tokens as of 12:43 a.m. ET were $18.87, $0.64, $6.20 and $80.05.
Furthermore, among the top 15, Ripple (XRP), Solana (SOL), Cardano (ADA), Dogecoin (DOGE), Polkadot (DOT) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) also jumped 2.62%, 4.42%, 2.99%, 1.22%, 1.15% and 3.56%, respectively. As of 12:48 a.m. ET, the prices of these tokens were $0.321, $34.52, $0.433, $0.061, $6.45 and $0.00001044.
