Consumer confidence report to be released
Today at 10am EST a consumer confidence report will be released, the results of a survey over 5,000 consumers indicating the consumer attitudes over the past months. A greater consumer confidence could be a factor to rise the consumer sales.

SF Reserve Bank President speaks
San Francisco Federal Reserve Bank President Janet Yellen will speak to the Idaho/Oregon Bankers Association on the economic outlook, in Couer d'Alene, Idaho. She is scheduled to speak at 10am EST.

Ben Bernanke to speak
Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke will today speak on Public Broadcast System's News Hour at 6pm EST with Jim Lehrer at the Town hall in Kansas City Missouri. Today's interview will be part 2 of 3 and it is being broadcast in three segments on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week. No new revelations on monetary policy is expected, the focus of the interview is heavily on how Bernanke viewed the financial crisis, the recession, and the role of the Fed.
