‘Dance Moms’ Alum Maddie Ziegler Says ‘Hardest Goodbye’ To Boyfriend Jack Kelly

Maddie Ziegler isn’t shy about documenting her relationship with boyfriend Jack Kelly on Instagram, so when the “Dance Moms” alum had to part ways with her beau recently, she opened up to her followers about their emotional goodbye.

After weeks of enjoying dates together in her hometown of Pittsburgh, Maddie and Jack parted ways on Wednesday and the 15-year-old made it clear she was upset about their separation. “Definitely the hardest goodbye ever,” Maddie posted to Instagram. Her update also included a shot of her and Jack sporting smiles.

“Thank you for making me the happiest person,” she continued. “I miss you like crazy. I love you to the moon and back bub.”

Jack posted an equally touching tribute to his better half on his Instagram account. “It’s always the saddest day leaving you, but thank you for the best trip of my life,” Jack wrote. “I love you so much and miss you already!!! See you so soon. love you!”

During their time together, the couple celebratedJack’s birthday, took in the sights at the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium, received a city tour from a friend and spent time with Maddie’s younger sister, Mackenzie Ziegler.

Prior to his return home, Mackenzie, who refers to Jack as “the best brother I could ever have,” posted several quick videos of his trip. In the caption, Mackenzie joked about always being the “third wheel” in his and Maddie’s relationship.

Maddie and Jack, after weeks of fielding dating rumors, confirmed their romance earlier this year. Maddie, who initially denied she was allowed to date, soon after opened up about her relationship in interviews, most recently telling Galore Magazine in September how she and Jack met.

“Well, we met when we were like eight, and then years later we met again, and he’s from Australia, it was kind of funny – and now we’re just dating,” Maddie said. “He just kind of asked me and I was like, ‘Yeah.’”

In the same interview, Maddie revealed that when she and her boyfriend get together, they like low-key outings. “The past few days we’ve just been going to Pinkberry a lot, and In-N-Out. We’ve been going for In-N-Out and sushi a lot,” she dished.

At the Teen Choice Awards in August, Maddie also discussed her relationship while walking the blue carpet. “It’s great. I always get really like giddy about it,” Maddie told ET Online prior to winning choice dancer at the event.

After her big win, Jack went on Instagram to congratulate Maddie for her success, writing, “So proud of you bub!! Love you.”
