‘Dance Moms’ Season 6, Episode 2 Spoilers: 'Abby vs. Melissa' Summary Released Online
Abby Lee Miller promised Season 6 of “Dance Moms” will be heavy on the drama, and based on the synopsis for episode 2, it doesn’t appear she was exaggerating. Ahead of Lifetime’s premiere of episode 2, “Abby vs. Melissa,” the network has released a promo video and summary for the forthcoming installment, and from what we’ve seen of the episode so far, fans are going to want to tune in.
The episode 2 synopsis reveals that Abby and Melissa Gisoni will go head-to-head after her youngest daughter, Mackenzie Ziegler, “receives the brunt of Abby’s rage.” Despite her long-standing friendship with the dance coach “Melissa vows not to play nice anymore."
Elsewhere in the episode, the moms will learn that Abby – who teased her legal troubles in the premiere – is facing jail time. As most “Dance Moms” fans are aware, Abby was indicted on several counts of bankruptcy fraud in October 2015. She has already plead not guilty to the charges, but still faces up to five years behind bars and a $5 million fine.
If you thought that was enough drama for one episode, think again! Abby will also be introducing a new team of dancers in the second episode of Season 6. Following her comment last season that her elite junior team members were getting a little too old for her liking, Abby will bring in a “new team” of mini dancers. The announcement will reportedly be a huge shock to the moms.
[Warning: Episode 2 Competition Results Listed Below]
While Tuesday’s episode is sure to be dramatic, it won’t be a total loss for the ALDC (Abby Lee Dance Company). As International Business Times previously reported, Abby’s elite junior team placed first in the senior division at New York Dance Experience in Calabasas, California, Oct. 17, 2015. The team is said to placed second in the overalls. Find out which dancers competed solos HERE.
“Dance Moms” Season 6, episode 2 premieres Tuesday at 9 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
