‘Dance Moms’ Season 7 Spoilers: Return To Pittsburgh Leads To Explosive Fight In Episode 12

“Dance Moms” will take a trip into the past in episode 12. Season 7’s new installment will see Abby Lee Miller and her elite junior team travel back to the studio’s home state of Pittsburgh to prepare for nationals.

While the cast appeared thrilled about the idea of returning to their old stomping grounds in the preview for episode 12, Lifetime’s synopsis for “It’s Not Always Sunny in Pittsburgh” reveals there will be some rough times ahead for the team. “The stress of proving themselves on the East Coast leads to some of the most explosive battles between the moms all season,” states the summary.

The drama will kick off inside Abby’s Pittsburgh studio when she questions newcomer Camryn Bridges’ desire to stay on the team. When Abby gives the dancer “one last chance to prove herself,” Camryn’s mother makes her upset known. “I’m so mad,” Camille yells in the preview, saying she wants to “ring” an unspecified person’s neck.

The drama won’t stop there. When the mothers learn they’ll be facing off against Cathy Nesbitt-Stein’s Candy Apples one week before nationals, Holly Frazier devises a plan. “When we go in front of the Candy Apples we have to at least act like we’re a team,” she advises.

While it’s uncertain if the moms stuck to Holly’s plan, the preview does show Candy Apples mom Kaya Wiley in a yelling match with the ALDC mothers. “It’s like a bad movie,” Abby comments of the fight as she eats popcorn from the sidelines.

It doesn’t appear the CADC’s appearance rattled the ALDC girls. Attendees of Sheer Talent’s competition in Wheeling, West Virginia, on Dec. 3 report Abby’s team’s three numbers placed first overall. Viewers can anticipate seeing the group dance “Ghost Town,” Camryn’s solo “I’m Already Done” and Elliana Walmsley and Lilliana Ketchman’s duet “We Can’t Say Goodbye.”

“Dance Moms” Season 7, episode 12, “It’s Not Always Sunny in Pittsburgh,” premieres Tuesday, Feb. 14, at 9 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
