‘Dancing With The Stars’ 2016 Spoilers: Season 22 Cast Prepares For March 21 Premiere
The ballroom is decorated ready to go! And so are the Season 22 contestants “Dancing With the Stars.”
On Monday, the red carpets celebs dished during a segment on “Good Morning America” that they’re eager to hit the bedazzled dance floor during the 2016 spring premiere of the hit ABC series.
“I’m not really nervous,” Kim Fields, star of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” said. According to the reality TV star, her Season 22 partner, Sasha Farber, has “Sasha-fied” her, which means she has the confidence to go toe-to-toe with her athletic competitors like UFC champion Paige VanZant.
When the Season 22 cast was announced, VanZant announced that she’s not leaving the dance floor without the Mirror Ball trophy in tow. “I’m going to bring it all,” she said. “I’m here to win, I’m here to fight!”
Part of VanZant’s tactic of winning over viewers is showing a very different side to her rough and tough reputation.
"Everyone sees me as a fighter and identifies me as a tough girl," VanZant, who is partnered up with Mark Ballas, said. "They're gonna see a girly different side of me ... sequins are a little different than MMA gloves."
But VanZant isn’t the only celebrity contestant campaigning to win! Marla Maples, the ex-wife of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, revealed that her former husband gave his endorsement to her and her partner Tony Dovolani.
“I was very pleased when I saw Trump endorsed us,” Maples said, adding that she gave herself a pat on the back when she found out the father of her daughter, Tiffany Trump, gave his official support to Team Martony.
The business mogul revealed to People magazine that he thought it was “wonderful” his ex was competing on the beloved competition. “I am very happy for her,” he stated, “and think she will do very well.”
Who do you think will win Season 22 of “Dancing With the Stars”? Cast your vote here! Make sure to tune in to the 2016 spring premiere of “Dancing With the Stars” on Monday, March 21, at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
