And it looks like several of the dance floor duos are confident they’ll woo the judges and audiences alike with their sexy tangos and deliciously dark paso dobles.
“@NyleDiMarco has been working so hard on our Rumba,” pro dancer Peta Murgatroyd revealed on Instagram, adding that they can’t wait to show off their routine Monday night. Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy will tackle the samba to the chart-topping “Sorry” by Justin Bieber and we’re crossing our fingers the “Good Morning America” meteorologist rocks one of the iconic looks from the hit music video. Jodie Sweetin and Keo Motsepe will also dance the samba, to the Skrillex and Dillion Francis single “Burn Up the Dance” (which we’re sure they’ll do!).
Four contestants will dance the salsa during Week 2. Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas will perform to Don Omar’s song “Danza Kuduro” while Wanya Morris and Lindsay Arnold will attempt to earn another high score to “Echa Pa’lla” by Pitbull. Sasha Farber, who is partnered with “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kim Fields, has also revealed he’s excited to show audiences his routine to Gloria Estefan’s “Conga.”
“Can’t wait for u guys to see my amazing partner @kimfieldsofficial do her thing tomorrow!” he captioned a photo of the two walking out of practice.
Geraldo Rivera and Edyta Śliwińska are also set to dance the salsa, to “Ran Kan Kan” by Tito Puente, which may help the award-winning journalist loosen up on the dance floor.
Marla Maples and Tony Dovolani will be the only couple dancing the Argentine tango, to Ed Sheeran’s “Don’t,” while Doug Flutie and Karina Smirnoff will try to win viewers over with a paso doble to the haunting “Buster Voodoo” by Rodrigo y Gabriela.
Who do you think will be safe from elimination during Week 2 of “Dancing With the Stars”? Tune in to find out on Monday, March 28, at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
