‘Dancing With The Stars’ 2016 Spoilers: Week 4 Songs And Dances Revealed; What To Expect From Disney Night
Your favorite Disney characters are about pay a visit to the ballroom! During Week 4 of “Dancing With the Stars,” audiences will celebrate the most enchanted night of the hit ABC series — Disney Night! And it looks like the Season 22 contestants have been working tirelessly in rehearsals to give viewers a magical experience on Monday night.
The remaining 10 couples gave fans a sneak-peek look at their routines, posting several behind-the-scenes photos and videos of their Week 4 dances. Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy were one couple who went picture-happy during the practice, snapping several pictures of their fairy-tale routine.
“Can’t wait to foxtrot with you @iamvalc,” Ginger captioned an Instagram video, revealing what type of dance they’d be taking on in Week 4. Team Gin and Juice will sweep across the ballroom as Belle and Gaston from “Beauty and the Beast,” to the song “Bonjour.”
Witney Carson will also portray a Disney princess as she and her football star partner Von Miller tackle the elegant Viennese waltz to the song “A Dream is a Wish” from “Cinderella.” But while Von and Ginger dance on land, Marla Maples and her partner Tony Dovolani will take things under the sea as they perform a waltz to “Part of Your World” from “The Little Mermaid.”
Antonio Brown and Sharna will kick things up a bit when the twosome take on the fun, foot-tapping tune “Friend Like Me” as they perform a jazz routine inspired by Disney’s “Aladdin.” Doug Flutie and Karina Smirnoff will also take a jab at jazz when they perform a dance in honor of “Mary Poppins.” The dancing duo will shimmy to the sweet single “A Spoonful of Sugar.”
Things will then get wild in the ballroom when Kim Fields and Sasha Farber quickstep to “The Jungle Book” song “I Wanna Be Like You.” Nyle DiMarco and his partner Peta Murgatroyd will make sure to keep the madness swinging at full force when they samba to “Trashin’ the Camp” from Disney’s “Tarzan.” But they won’t be the only couple conquering the samba during Week 4. Wanya Morris and Lindsay Arnold will perform the rhythmical dance during the routine to “Circle of Life” from the classic Disney movie “The Lion King.”
Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas will channel their inner cowboys during Disney Night as the couple portray characters from Pixar’s “Toy Story.” The two will quickstep to the Oscar-winning tune “You’ve Got a Friend in Me.” But while the majority of Season 22 contestants tackle classic animated movies, Jodie Sweetin and Keo Motsepe will celebrate the newest Disney film — “Zootopia.” The twosome will unleash their inner animals as they perform a cha-cha to Shakira’s “Try Everything” from the film.
Fans can witness the Disney magic by tuning in to Week 4 of “Dancing With the Stars” on Monday, April 11, at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
