After 10 weeks, America's 'Dancing with the Stars' reached its finale , crowning Indy 500 winner Helio Castroneves and his professional dancing partner Julianne Hough as the show's new champions.

Losing out was Spice Girl Melanie Brown's pair who came in as first runner up followed by entertainer Marie Osmond and her partner.

Judges gave both Castroneves and Brown perfect scores, but viewers pushed the race car driver to the win.

The prime-time two-hour show on ABC averaged 24.9 million viewers, beating all other competitors, Nielsen Media Research reported.

In the advertiser friendly 18-49 segment of adults, however, 'Dancing' came in with a 6.4 rating a/15 share. It was second in that segment to Fox medical drama 'House,' with garnered 17 million viewers and a 6.4 rating/15 share.
