‘Dancing With The Stars’ Pro Artem Chigvintsev Splits From ‘Pretty Little Liars’ Star Torrey DeVitto

“Dancing With the Stars” pro Artem Chigvintsev and “Pretty Little Liars” recurring guest star Torrey DeVitto have decided to end their relationship.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the ex-couple dated for almost a year before finally calling it quits almost a month ago. A source told the publication that it was DeVitto who ended her relationship with Chigvintsev.

“Torrey broke up with him about a month or two ago, and Artem is pretty bummed about it. Torrey was over the relationship and the distance was a lot for them to handle. She has been in Chicago filming ‘Chicago Med’ while Artem is in Los Angeles for ‘Dancing.’ Distance was a main factor,” the insider said.

No wonder Chigvintsev has not posted a photo of himself with DeVitto for over a month now. He last uploaded a snap with the actress via Instagram in March when they attended the 10^th anniversary of BNP Showdown. The dancer also shared a sweet photo with DeVitto on Valentine’s Day. He captioned the snap by calling the “Chicago Med” actress his “love.” The couple also shared some photos from their trips last year via the same social media platform.

In May 2016, DeVitto’s rep told Us Weekly that the 32-year-old actress and the 34-year-old professional dancer have started seeing each other. At that time, the couple was spotted getting affectionate while attending the Philosophy Hope & Grace Luncheon for Mental Health Month in Los Angeles on May 19. An insider told the publication that the two held each other’s hands the whole time they were together.

DeVitto and Chigvintsev also started dating just two months after the actress split from Rick Glassman. The actress and Glassman were together for a year, and the two actors’ schedule was also the reason for their split. “Her being in Chicago and him in L.A. put a strain on their relationship so they amicably split. They were both really into each other and it was hard for both of them,” the source said.

The “One Tree Hill” alum was also married to “The Vampire Diaries” star Paul Wesley from 2011 to 2013. According to the Daily Mail, DeVitto and Wesley signed a pre-nuptial agreement before they tied the knot. The two actors first met on the set of “Killer Movie” in 2007. In 2012, Wesley opened up about what it’s like working with his wife in “The Vampire Diaries.” According to him, working on the same set has been good for their marriage. “It’s fantastic because otherwise we’d be 2000 miles away, Los Angeles and Georgia, so it’s very nice to be in the same geographical location,” he said. DeVitto and Wesley were together for a total of six years.

Chigvintsev, on the other hand, used to be in a relationship with Giselle Peacock from 2004 to 2005. He also dated “Dancing With the Stars” judge Carrie Ann Inaba for two years. Before getting into a relationship with DeVitto, Chigvintsev dated English actress Kara Tointon from 2010 until 2014, according to Closer Weekly.
