Darfur hostages unharmed
On March 13 Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) spokesperson announced that the three foreign aid workers held hostage in war-torn Darfur are ‘in good health’ and unharmed.
There is also a Sudanese staffer with them.
We had fresh contact with our colleagues today, spokesperson Koen Baetens said. They are all in good health.
The three foreign staff are; a Canadian nurse, an Italian doctor and a French administrator working with the Belgian branch of MSF workers were kidnapped at gunpoint on Wednesday in Saraf Umra North Darfur.
The spokesperson did not provide further details regarding the location of the hostages and how contact had been made.
