Davos explosion at nearby hotel, 2 windows broken
A small explosion was set at a hotel near Davos (World Economic Forum), according to Swiss police, reported the Associated Press.
The explosion took place in a storage room of the Posthotel Morosani around 9 a.m. Swiss time. Two windows were broken and no one was injured.
The police are still investigating if the explosion has a criminal origin.
The gathering of global elites -- such as Davos, the G20 Summit, and the IMF/World Bank meetings -- have always attracted protestors, especially in recent years.
The majority of the protesters are not violent and do not engage in criminal actions.
