Dax Shepard gushed over his wife, Kristen Bell, on social media.

Shepard, 47, shared a snap of them during a European trip. In the picture, both smiled while rocking matching purple-dyed hair, with Bell holding the camera for the selfie. The "CHiPs" star showed his partner of nine years some love in the caption.

"I am very happy! I am sexually attracted to my partner," the English translation of the German caption he wrote on Instagram read.

The post received mixed responses from his followers, with many praising the couple's relationship. Several also noticed their matching hair color.

"Sexy in all ways and all languages," one commented. Another wrote, "PURPLE PEOPLE CULT BEGINS."

"So I live abroad in Germany and my feed is a good mixture of English and German…this post initially confused me so much. But I agree. Kristen's hair is [fire emoji]," a third user added.

Shepard and Bell have never been shy to express their love for each other. The "Armchair Expert" podcast host celebrated Mother's Day by sharing a nude photo of his wife doing yoga with nothing but socks.

The actress was doing the three-legged downward-facing dog pose. He placed a red box to cover his wife's behind and gushed over her in the caption.

"Look at this specimen: kind, patient, nurturing, hilarious, Uber talented, generous, hard AND soft. My girls and I hit the MegaMom Lottery in spectacular fashion. We are so grateful and so in love with you @kristenanniebell," he wrote.

In an interview with "CBS Morning," Bell said she and her husband were "polar opposites." She added that they compromise to make their marriage work while pointing out that "a recipe is not delicious with one ingredient.".

"You have to have diverse points of view," she said. Bell added that they were working on becoming better Purple People. They share their bedroom conversations in their new podcast, "The Honey and the Hammer."

"Our goal is to allow people to vent," she said, "and then encourage them to say, 'ok what do you think your side of the street is?'"
