Day Care Worker In Texas Fired For Writing Nasty Note In Boy's Lunchbox
An impolite day care worker in Texas was fired after writing a nasty note inside the lunchbox of a five-year-old boy.
Francesca Easdon posted on her Facebook page that she left a note to her son, Kyler, to “make him smile” since they have been helping him on his food options.
“We have been working with Kyler on his eating, he's extremely picky!” said Easdon as she explained that they are introducing him to new and healthier choices during lunchtime.
She also discussed the changes in his son's diet to the staff of Rocking Horse Day Care Center, according to NBC News.
But when Kyler got home, Eadson found something in his lunchbox that gave her the shock of her life.
Instead of supporting him and his son, one of the teachers wrote, “No! Put him on a diet and go away!”
“It took a minute to register, what I even saw and I just kept re-reading it and I just stood there for a minute,” she said.
Easdon immediately contacted the school and went to the Center the very next day with her mother-in-law to meet with the director.
She was assured that the incident was being investigated, “yet almost no remorse was shown.”
The teacher who wrote the note confessed and was fired by the school. The termination was likewise confirmed by the director through NBC News Monday and said that the day care center has been open for “49 years with an impeccable record.”
“I am disgusted that I put my trust in these people to care for my child and this is what I get in return,” expressed Easdon.
Kyler has since been transferred to a new facility.
"Monitor your day cares closely and stay away from this facility, they do NOT deserve the privilege of teaching our children," Easdon said.
