This Day For Democrats: Al Gore Heading Current TV's Presidential Debate Coverage
President Barack Obama is holding a campaign event at Virginia’s Farm Bureau Live amphitheater on Thursday, marking his third stop in the area in recent months.
The event is free, but tickets are required for entrance, the White House said.
Vice President Joe Biden is scheduled to spend the day in Washington, D.C.
First Lady Michelle Obama will tape her appearance on Steve Harvey’s daytime talk show on Thursday in Chicago, the Obamas' hometown. The episode will air on Oct. 3.
Current TV announced that former Vice President Al Gore will analyze the first presidential debate between Obama and Mitt Romney for the liberal-leaning network on Oct. 3. Gore will lead a roundtable featuring other Current TV hosts, including former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm (D) and former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer (D).
