- A new USA TODAY/Gallup poll finds President Barack Obama’s support for the Affordable Care Act’s contraception mandate is helping him enormously with female voters. Thirty-one percent of female voters said the birth control policy will be “extremely important” in influencing their vote. Obama held a 21-point advantage over Romney on the issue.
- The White House is reportedly considering a strike against militants responsible for the death of the United States’ ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens, if it can track down the perpetrators, the Associated Press reports.
