‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Abigail’s Suspicions About Dario Continue To Grow

She was warned that the man she has married could be involved in some very shady and illegal dealings. Now, as more evidence continues to mount, Abigail will become more worried than ever that Dario isn’t being as honest with her as she thought on the Wednesday, July 12 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

When Dario (Jordi Villasousa) told her that he needed to marry someone or he would be deported back to Mexio, where a drug kingpin is waiting to kill him, Abigail (Marci Miller) volunteered to marry him as a friend on the NBC soap. She was unaware that he could easily fix his problem by simply refiling some paperwork, and that he hopes their marriage will one day be one that is based on love, because that is what he wants with her. However, as more information continues getting brought to her attention, Abigail will feel even more distant from her new husband instead.

Dario surprised her by saying that he wants to thank her for the sacrifices she made for him by taking her on a lavish honeymoon to New York, complete with a trip to the city to see Hamilton on Broadway, and a beautiful house in East Hampton to stay in. Abigail knows this costs money, money Dario theoretically shouldn’t have, and after speaking to Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and telling her, she was warned that the money may not have been honorably earned. Hope has been secretly investigating Dario because she suspects he took over the illegal business of the Hernandez clan when Ed (A. Martinez) was set up and sent to prison. She has been determined to discover the truth in an effort to protect Abigail from harm, but in the interest of protecting her own engagement to Rafe (Galen Gering), she has been quiet about her findings.

However, Abigail won’t need to worry about being overly cautious when it comes to investigating her new husband, as she has every right as his wife to do so. Since she also has her young son, Thomas, with Chad (Billy Flynn), she wants to also be extra careful so as not to put him in harm’s way.

Abigail’s investigation will turn up some unexpected findings however, and will only serve to give her more questions and make her even more suspicious about what’s going on with Dario. She may find a stash of cash that worries her as she looks through his things, as well as other stuff which will worry her about what she’s signed up for now as Dario’s wife.

Determined to find answers, Abigail will then decide she needs to be even more devoted to looking into Dario’s dealings, and will realize she needs to do so in a way where he won’t realize what she’s doing. However, deciding to spy on him will be a risky move, and it could also be one which will open her eyes in a way she never expected.
