‘Days Of Our Lives ’ Spoilers: Chad And Gabi Have An Enormous Fight

They seemed to be making things work this time around, especially after Abigail married Dario, but events which keep forcing Abigail and Chad together will lead to a major conflict between him and Gabi on the Wednesday, July 26 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

After Abigail (Marci Miller) filed for divorce from Chad (Billy Flynn), he quickly moved on with Gabi (Camila Banus) again on the NBC soap. Though their romance began when they were stranded on the deserted island, they have thus far managed to make it continue working since coming back to Salem. Things seemed destined to truly work out for them after Abigail then married Dario (Jordi Villasousa) to keep him from getting deported. However, the series of events that have evolved since then have continued thrusting Chad and Abigail together—and that is leading to problems with Gabi.

Gabi learned about her brother’s arrest when Chad told him Abigail had informed him of Dario’s illegal activities, including counterfeiting, hacking, and stealing money from corporations, including his own. She was upset that Chad had gone to see Abigail again, and was getting annoyed that he seemed to keep going to his ex and seeking her out when it comes to things that don’t involve them co-parenting their son, Thomas. However, things will only get more intense as the couple continues duking it out when Gabi finds the engagement ring Chad gave Abigail in his pocket.

Gabi may initially mistake the ring as one he means to give her, but even if she doesn’t, learning that it was Abigail’s will enrage her, because she won’t be able to understand why exactly the ring is in Chad’s pocket now. The misunderstanding will continue to blow up and out of proportion, and the two may not be able to come back from it if Chad finally admits that he never stopped loving Abigail.

Even if the two do manage to make up however, their time together is likely numbered, because Chad doesn’t even know the whole story when it comes to Abigail and her insistence that he didn’t go to the cops to report Dario’s crimes. When Abigail confronted her husband about the things he has done, he shocked her by showing her a photo of Chad appearing to be the one who murdered Deimos (Vincent Irizarry), and threatened that if she turned him in, then he would turn Chad in for the other crime.

Though Dario was then arrested anyway because his hacker flipped on him, Abigail made sure he wouldn’t be able to point a finger at Chad when it came to the murder. However, she was shocked when she learned Dario was once again flipping things around on her.

Dario told her he wouldn’t turn Chad in for the murder, even if he did commit it, but that he did want to make a deal to save himself as well. If he turns on his partner, he will be allowed to go into witness protection. But, if Abigail still wants to keep Chad safe, she will have to go with him, and leave behind the world she knows and the people she loves in Salem for good.
