‘Days Of Our Lives' Spoilers: Chad Walks Out On Abigail
He was trying to get over his less than positive feelings about Abigail carrying Stefan’s baby and was determined to make things work. However, after seeing a moment between Stefan and his wife, Chad will instead decide to give up and walk out on the Thursday, August 9 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”
Chad (Billy Flynn) has been having a hard time adjusting since learning that Abigail (Marci Miller) was pregnant with Stefan’s (Tyler Christopher) baby and that he had managed to dissuade her from getting an abortion. He wants to try and work things out and even went to see Marlena (Deidre Hall) to try and get some advice on how to get past it on the NBC soap. After his talk with her, he seemed ready to resolve the problems he was having with the situation. However, as he walked into the house, he saw Stefan there with his wife—and his hand on her belly.
Now, Chad will likely blow up over the fact that Stefan was there, and that Abigail allowed him to do something so intimate, like feeling the baby kicking. Abigail had previously offered to allow him to feel it first, but he had declined, and seeing his brother do it first will send him over the edge.
Abigail will try to defuse the situation by explaining that it was the one thing she allotted Stefan, who had previously asked her to let him have a bigger role in the baby’s life since they believe it is his child. Abigail had refused to allow him to touch her earlier, and she had also refused to allow him to come to any ultrasound appointments. However, Chad may refuse to hear it, and will instead inform his wife that he can’t do this. With that, he will turn around and walk out.
Following his decision to leave, Chad will then seek shelter at the Kiriakis Mansion since he is the new CEO of Titan, and Abigail will be left devastated. Whether the two will be able to work through this latest blow to their marriage remains to be seen.
“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
