'Days Of Our Lives' Spoilers: Eve Makes A Confession
She is the one who plotted to try and help Brady win the custody battle with Theresa by playing dirty. Now, with the scheme making the opposite happen, Eve will make a confession as her guilt begins to consume her on the Wednesday, July 18 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”
When it seemed as though Brady (Eric Martsolf) would lose the case to Theresa (Jen Lilley) over who would have custody of Tate, Eve (Kassie DePaiva) decided to take action. Convinced the judge would believe Brady was guilty of Deimos’ murder, she implored Victor (John Aniston) to do something, and the pair cooked up a scheme that saw a Child Protective Services visitor sneak cocaine into JJ’s (Casey Moss) home as a plant, which would force Theresa to lose the case and be seen as an unfit mother.
However, what Eve didn’t foresee happening was Theresa figuring out the drugs were a plant and blaming Brady. She also didn’t foresee that JJ, in an effort to help Theresa, would claim the rugs were his. As a result, the judge sided with Theresa, and Brady lost the case anyway.
Now, Brady has given Tate up and is devastated that he lost his son so easily. As he grieves his new situation, Eve will begin to feel overwhelmed by her guilt, because she knows what she and Victor did is to blame for the turn of events. As a result, she will find herself confessing the truth about what happened to Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), in the hopes her friend can give her advice that helps her figure out how to fix the problem.
Of course, Chloe may be appalled by Eve’s actions, as Brady is also her close friend, and she knows how important it is to him to have Tate. She may express concerns that this could push him over the edge again but may agree to keep the truth a secret for now as Eve tries to find a solution.
Since confessing led to JJ being suspended from his job though, Eve will need to think fast. Jen (Melissa Reeves) is now on the trail and getting ready to investigate in the hopes of getting her son reinstated, and if she uncovers the truth before Eve fixes things, a lot more could be lost that custody of Tate.
“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
