Days of Our Lives
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) receives unsettling news about Ben (Robert Scott Wilson, not pictured) on the July 5, 2018 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”  XJ Johnson/JPI Studios for NBC

She’s been worried about her daughter’s safety since she figured out that she may be holed up with Ben Weston. Now, Hope will receive a disturbing and creepy clue about the allegedly reformed serial killer and the danger he may pose to Ciara, bringing her fears to a new level on the Thursday, July 5 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Hope (Kristian Alfonso) figured out there was a good chance Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) was the person Ciara (Victoria Konefal) was with on the NBC soap after learning the boot print that Rafe (Galen Gering) found at the scene of the motorcycle accident could only have come from someone who was from a state facility. Knowing the boots were given to Shady Hills patients and learned that Ben had been dropped off near the scene, she panicked over how safe her daughter really could be. Though Ciara assured her she was fine, Hope still made sure to put out an APB on Ben’s whereabouts.

Now, the concerned mother will learn something else new that may make her even more worried about what her daughter could be facing in terms of the danger that Ben poses.

Though Ben was released from the facility because it’s believed he has had a breakthrough and was cured of his tendencies that led to his killing three women a few years ago, no one truly believes that he is a changed person. However, he is also taking medications which are supposed to help keep his impulses and behaviors in check, and it was known he is running out.

Now, Hope may learn that the prescription ran out and Ben has not yet arrived at any of the local pharmacies to refill it. If this is the information she learns, then she could be worried about what happens when he is off the meds, and what it means for Ciara.

Something else could also cause Hope to panic more. If she seeks more information on what causes Ben to snap through his father, Clyde (James Read), she could also learn just what happens. If she combines that with the knowledge that Ben is off his meds, the amount of trouble Ciara could be in will drive Hope even harder to find her daughter before it is too late.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
