‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Hope Tells Rafe The Truth About Dario

She was afraid the evidence would prove her fiancé’s brother was guilty of some serious crimes, and now has proof to confirm it. Now, Hope will have to inform Rafe about the shady things Dario has been getting into on the Friday, July 21 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Hope (Kristian Alfonso) was secretly looking into whether or not Dario (Jordi Villasousa) had taken over the illegal businesses Eduardo (A. Martinez) had after he was arrested and put away in prison on the NBC soap. She has not previously told Rafe (Galen Gering) that she’s been looking into his brother for fear of how the news would crush him. However, after Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani (Sal Stowers) also conducted their own investigation and gave Dario’s hacker Myron (Craig Welzbacher) immunity if he flipped on his boss, the confirmation that Dario was involved in illegal business was given.

Dario has not only been counterfeiting money in Salem, but also hacking into other companies, like DiMera’s Countess W, and draining their funds as well. Now that she knows for a fact that Dario is behind the crimes, and is being set-up for a takedown, Hope will be forced to come clean and tell Rafe not only about her investigation to begin with, but also the fact that there is proof about what his brother has been up to.

As expected, Rafe likely won't take the news well, because once again it means the family unit he has built in Salem will be reduced. After years of just he and Gabi (Camila Banus) being in the town, their family was reunited when Dario, Eduardo, and their mother all came to town. However, their mother has since gone back to Mexico, and with Eduardo and Dario’s crimes, it means they will once again be reduced down to the same two members of the family, losing everything they had built with their loved ones in the last year.

However, the fact that Dario has officially been caught and is going to soon be arrested could have another unexpected consequence. Abigail (Marci Miller), who married him to help him get a Green Card, also has since learned of his crimes and threatened to turn him in to the police as well. She was stunned however when Dario turned things around on her, producing a photo which appears to show Chad (Billy Flynn) as the one who murdered Deimos (Vincent Irizarry). Dario promised her that if he went down, he would take Chad with him.

Now, despite Abigail’s attempts to protect Chad by not going to the police, he could wind up arrested anyway, as Dario likely won’t hesitate to use the photo against his enemy even if Abigail wasn’t the one who turned him in. And if he successfully convinces the police of Chad’s guilt, it will also take down DiMera once again as well.
