‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: How Will Sami’s Actions Change Everything?

Her arrival at the wedding led to the shocking revelation that Susan Banks was not actually within the midst of Salem’s residents. However, Sami’s reveal that Kirsten DiMera was alive and had masqueraded as Susan led to some unexpected drama and revelations, and the consequences of Sami’s actions will now reverberate in several ways on the Monday, Aug. 27 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

After Sami (Alison Sweeney) crashed John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) wedding to stop the proceedings, she saw Susan (Stacy Haiduk) in the audience, and quickly unmasked her as none other than Kirsten DiMera (also Haiduk), revealing she was back and intended to kill Marlena. Kristen quickly turned the tables on Sami however, giving her the gun she was carrying and telling her to shoot her own mother. To add to the unexpected twist, she revealed that Sami’s own husband, EJ, was alive because Kristen had injected him with something after Sami believed he was murdered. However, she warned the other woman that if she didn’t shoot and kill her mother, she wouldn’t be allowed to reunite with her husband.

As Sami struggled with the decision, her twin brother, Eric (Greg Vaughan) came to her and struggled with the gun, trying to get it away from her. As they struggled, it went off. Now, the consequences of that moment and everything that happened since Sami ran up the aisle will begin to play out.

Sadly, Kristen’s plan of the bullet finding Marlena will be a success, as she will be shot, much to the dismay of everyone who had gathered to see her and John finally marry. Now, the fight will be on to save her life, though Sami may shockingly appear to have no remorse over what happened.

Of course, she will likely be preoccupied. While Marlena is still alive, she did technically shoot her mother, which means Kristen will have to live up to her promise of bringing Sami to EJ again. However, if she learns that it was all a lie, and Kristen used her to meet her own goals, the consequences of what she’s done could prove to be even worse than she previously faced. Even if Kristen didn’t lie, everything Sami has now done will be felt negatively through Salem for some time.
