'Days Of Our Lives' Spoilers: Nicole Comes Clean To Brady

She finally realized who she actually wanted to be with, and knows she must break another man's heart because of it. But knowing she needs to do what's right, Nicole will decide to come clean with Brady about her feelings for Eric on the Thursday, Oct. 12 episode of "Days of Our Lives."

Though she has been with Brady (Eric Martsolf) for a while now and owes a lot to him after everything he's done to try and make her happy, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) has come to terms on the NBC soap with the fact that her heart truly loves and wants Eric (Greg Vaughan). The two have finally reconnected and slept together and she now knows she wants to be with him for good, but she knows it will mean destroying Brady in the process.

Still, Nicole will go to the man she's been with and try to let him down and share with him that her being with Eric is what's best and necessary, unaware that telling Brady this could have some dire consequences. She's unaware he secretly fell off the wagon and that her ending things with him will only likely plunge him further into his demons. As he processes the news that she is leaving him, those demons will come out in a way that neither one of them expect.

During a previous fit of jealousy fueled by drinking, Brady thought he had found evidence that Eric had been the one who murdered Deimos (Vincent Irizarry), after finding the Ramses amulet in his hotel room. However, when he brought the evidence to Nicole, she flashed back to her memories of that night, and remembered that she was the one who actually killed Deimos. Since then, she and Brady have both been keeping that secret, out of fear that the truth getting out would mean she would once again lose Holly and would never get custody of her back ever again.

Now though, as his anger and hurt over the betrayal of her leaving him consumes him, Brady could do the unthinkable and level a nasty threat against Nicole, a woman he has claimed to deeply love.

In an effort to force her to stay with him, Brady could decide to blackmail her and threaten her. He will tell Nicole that she can go and be with Eric, but it will come at the ultimate price, because he knows the truth about her and can truly ruin her life forever if he goes to the police with what he knows. He will warn Nicole that either she can be with Eric temporarily and enjoy her time with him before she's carted off to jail, or she can stay with him and still have everything else she wants in life.

Nicole will be appalled and shocked that Brady will stoop so low to keep her in his life, but may find herself torn. She won't feel complete if her life doesn't include Eric, but she can't risk losing everything else, most of all, Holly, again either. She'll now find herself forced to make the most difficult decision she's faced yet.
