‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Nicole And Eric Get Shocking News About Brady

They have managed to figure out the truth behind Xander’s kidnapping Nicole, and now, after finding a way to thwart the scam with Deimos, Eric and Nicole will learn of devastating news concerning Brady on the Wednesday, May 24 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

After Nicole (Arianne Zucker) was recaptured on the NBC soap, she and Eric (Greg Vaughan) decided to work together to figure out a plan for escape. After seeing a text about her on Xander’s (Paul Telfer) phone, Nicole realized that the entire kidnapping was a plot orchestrated by Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) so that he could rescue her and seem like a hero in her eyes, with the hope that she would once again declare her love for him.

She and Eric then used that information to their advantage, staging a fight that caused Xander to separate them before they got the upper-hand on him and knocked him out and locked him in his creepy cage. Deimos has since arrived on the property, planning to sweep Nicole and baby Holly away and kill Eric, but he has been shocked to now learn that his plan has been thwarted—and he won’t be getting away with it. In addition to Nicole and Eric learning the truth, JJ (Casey Moss), Lani (Sal Stowers), Eli (Lamon Archey), Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Paul (Christopher Sean) have also all figured out the truth, and the police are on their way to corner Deimos and arrest both him and Xander. Since Nicole is a fugitive however, she will be long gone by the time the arrest potentially happens.

Once the chaos is finally over and Nicole is truly free to escape, she and Eric will head back to his private plane and be reunited with Holly. But while Nicole will initially be happy to be getting off the island, she doesn’t think she can return to Salem, despite Eric believing it would be best for her. The two will then receive a phone call which will make the decision that much easier.

Brady (Eric Martsolf) was shot when Xander initially grabbed Nicole, and the trauma caused his body to reject the heart he received after Daniel died. Now, the medications to prevent that from happening have failed, and there are no other hearts available for him to get. As such, he is dying and is likely within his last 24 hours. Nicole will be devastated to learn that he is dying and can’t be saved at this point, and will decide that even if it means she runs the risk of being arrested for taking Holly, she needs to get back to Salem as quickly as possible to see Brady. But the devastation will be even more real for both her and Eric when they realize they may not be able to get back in time to truly say goodbye, because Brady will officially slip into an unconscious state and could be gone before they get there.
