'Days Of Our Lives' Spoilers: Rafe And Sami Seek Comfort In One Another
They both suffered from immense heartbreak, and now, Rafe and Sami will find themselves seeking comfort in one another as they try to deal with their respective situations on the Friday, Dec. 1 episode of "Days Of Our Lives."
Things have not been going well for either Sami (Alison Sweeney) or Rafe (Galen Gering) on the NBC soap, with each one being dealt some nasty blows in the last few days. Rafe has just called off his engagement to Hope (Kristian Alfonso), who finally admitted to him that she was hesitant to marry him because he would never replace Bo in her life. Meanwhile, Sami has potentially lost her son Will (Chandler Massey) all over again and pushed him even further away following a plot to try and force him to regain his memories.
Now, as she cries over her scheme to have Ben (Robert Scott Wilson ) bring back Will's memory by recreating the scene where he was initially believed to have murdered him, she will find her ex-husband, who is heartbroken as well over his failed engagement. And as they both grieve their unexpected losses, they may find themselves in a situation neither one expected.
Though their marriage ended some time ago, there has always still been chemistry between Sami and Rafe, and their mutual heartbreak may wind up sparking that attraction once more. As they console one another, things could quickly get physical—and before they know it they may find themselves in a familiar place.
If things lead to the former spouses making love, it could open up a whole new world of confusion and problems for both, as neither one expected to wind up in one another's arms again, even if they are both officially single once more. However, if they make love, it could also mean that they maybe haven't quite given enough thought to revisiting their past, and it could help each one of them not only heal from their heartbreaks, but find a way to grow stronger as they move past them.
"Days of Our Lives" airs weekdays on NBC.
