‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Will Abigail Start Suffering From Her Disorder Again?
She has started imagining Ben as the Necktie killer again and seeing him everywhere she goes, and now, scared about what it means for her, Abigail will learn why she has started hallucinating again on the Tuesday, April 28 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”
It has been a long time since Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) acted in the same ways he did when he was the Red Necktie Killer on the NBC soap, and many have accepted that he has changed. Abigail (Kate Mansi) has also been healthy for a while when it comes to the issues she has had involving hallucinations of Ben and her own Dissociative Identity Disorder. However, she has since started hallucinating seeing Ben menacing her with a tie in his hand and hugging Ciara (Victoria Konefal)--when the men she was really seeing were her husband Chad (Billy Flynn), as he took his own tie off, and Sonny (Freddie Smith), as he consoled Ciara while they waited for word on Victor’s (John Aniston) condition. Now, after being admitted for tests, she and Chad could finally get answers about what is going on.
“Abigail and Chad learn the reason for her hallucinations,” spoilers reveal.
While Abigail could genuinely just be suffering from another episode related to her mental health issues, the sudden onset suggests that something else could be at play. Considering it isn’t hard in Salem to find a way to control others through unexpected ways, and Chad himself was recently the victim of hypnosis after he drank a drink his own father drugged, the couple could learn that she was drugged in a way that forced her hallucinations—or assume that is happening, even if they don’t have exact answers. If that is what they learn though, only one person will come to mind when they try to figure out who would do that—Gabi (Camila Banus).
However, while Gabi has sworn revenge on the couple after they got her fired from DiMera and took Gabi Chic from her as a result, she too is thinking something is wrong with her as well since she has been seeing her dead husband, Stefan (Brandon Barash). While Ben has seen a man who does look like him in person, Gabi has not yet. If she too is suffering from hallucinations, she won’t be the one to blame for Abigail’s own issues.
“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
