‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Will Belle Warn Eric Marlena Is Dying?
There was hope after she made it out of surgery that she was not only going to survive but wind up okay in the end after suffering a gunshot wound to the chest during her wedding. However, Marlena’s children and other loved ones will be left preparing for the worst following her latest setback on the Friday, Sept. 7 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”
Marlena (Deidre Hall) had woken up following her surgery on the NBC soap, and it seemed as though she was on the mend. Not long after, however, she quickly fell unconscious again, and Val (Vanessa Williams) worked to quickly try and revive her. Marlena is now once again unconscious and has a tube to help her breathe because she’s suffering from septic shock—a condition which could lead to organ failure and, eventually, death.
Now, John (Drake Hogestyn) is a mess because the love of his life could be dying, and his son, Paul (Christopher Sean) may also be on the cusp of death following a fall out a window. With him devastated and torn because two people he loves and cares for deeply are at risk, it’s up to Marlena’s other children to try and figure out their next steps.
Now, Belle (Martha Madison) will be forced to inform Eric (Greg Vaughan) of the change in their mother’s condition, and what it could mean. Prior to then, Eric had tried being a peacemaker, since Belle was blaming Sami (Alison Sweeney) for what happened, since she was the one who was holding the gun, and she and Eric had struggled with it as he tried to keep her from shooting John like Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) had tried to taunt her into doing.
Belle had even tried to attack her sister and threaten her over the situation, which Eric broke up. Now though, he could also be devastated, as the news about their mom is far worse than any of them could have predicted. If he now also finds himself against his twin, Sami won’t have any allies left as she tries to prove her innocence in the shooting.
“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
