He did a lot of things that were hurtful to some of the people he loved in order to protect Maggie from the consequences of what she was allegedly responsible for on Monther’s Day last year. However, Victor may learn that no matter what his intentions were, it will be too much for Brady to overcome on the Wednesday, May 20 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Brady (Eric Martsolf), Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) were among the biggest victims of the massive cover-up Victor (John Aniston) and Xander (Paul Telfer) tried orchestrating since the Mother’s Day accident on the NBC soap. They not only did everything they could to keep Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) from knowing she was allegedly drinking and driving that night, causing the accident that killed Adrienne (Judi Evans) and Sarah’s baby Mickey, but they also tried to prevent anyone from learning that Mickey was dead by switching her and Rachel—allowing Brady and Kristen to believe their daughter was dead instead.

Since the truth came out, Brady told his grandfather that he never wanted to have anything to do with him again because this time, his betrayal as too much, but with the real story of what happened that night starting to come out and put everyone through upheaval once more, Victor may see it as an opening to try and get the forgiveness from Brady after all.

“Victor asks Brady for forgiveness,” spoilers reveal.

However, while the truth about that night has now revealed that Maggie did not cause the accident and was set up by Orpheus (George Del Hoyo) when his plan to kidnap her went awry and he caused the deadly accident, it doesn’t really excuse Victor and Xander from the baby cover-up. Brady was still forced to grieve his daughter for a year unnecessarily, and he and Kristen both did things they regretted because of their grief. It also was the reason Kristen had to leave town with Rachel when they finally got her back, because if she stayed in Salem, then she would go to jail for stabbing Victor, and once again be separated from her baby.

As a result, Brady likely won’t be in a forgiving mood—especially since he and Sarah are both intent on revenge.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
