They’ve been enemies their entire lives and things certainly haven’t improved since Eve came back to town, married Jack and helped position him as Salem’s destructive new mayor. However, a heated confrontation over a different issue could lead to a small moment of concession between Eve and Jennifer on the Wednesday, June 12 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

After learning that Eve (Kassie DePaiva) was the last known person to have possession of Rolf’s (William Utay) diary with the formula that could save Will’s (Chandler Massey) life, but that she wasn’t handing it over, infuriated Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) even further on the NBC soap. The women already have a nasty history, and Jennifer is convinced her enemy won’t hand over the formula because it will mean jack (Matthew Ashford) can retrieve his memories and potentially undo everything that’s been done since they both came back to Salem. As a result, she went to Eve’s office to try and convince her to hand it over anyway, and things likely won’t go well.

“Jennifer and Eve have a heated confrontation,” spoilers reveal.

Eve will likely continue to claim she doesn’t have the diary, which actually isn’t a lie. As Jennifer continues hurling accusations at her that she is so blinded by wanting to control Jack that she will let Will die, Eve could then decide to finally come clean with the truth.

As it turns out, Xander (Paul Tefler) is the one who has the diary, and he has been using it to blackmail her. Though she genuinely doesn’t want Jennifer to have access to the formula because she could convince Jack to try and regain his memories again, Eve also has no ill feelings towards Will—and may relent to let everyone know who they need to be hounding for the diary and formula.

Of course, if she does give in and reveal what she knows, the battle will still be intense, as everyone will now need to convince Xander to help them—and he is an even harder person to work with than Eve.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
